Questions
Is this Modern Standard Arabic?
No. Filblad teaches spoken Jordanian–Palestinian (Levantine) Arabic: the Arabic people actually use day to day in Amman, Jerusalem, Ramallah and across the Levant.
Do I need an Arabic keyboard?
No. You can type answers in Arabizi (Arabic with Latin letters and numbers, like “marhaba” or “ma3 salame”) and the workbook checks them for you, showing the Arabic as you type.
What do I get for free?
All of Unit 1 (introductions) with its exercises, videos, audio and flashcards, plus the grammar reference and every article on this site.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from Settings in the workbook. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for. Or pay $100 once for lifetime access and never think about it again.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It’s a website, so it works on any phone, tablet or computer. Your flashcard progress is saved in your browser.
